Dress Jolly Jim Paper Doll

The Dress Jolly Jim paper doll is from the 1940s.   I love this front cover so much!  He is holding several outfits, just waiting to be dressed!

Dress Jolly Jim Paper Doll:

This paper doll is made to stand up if you use this cut-out and follow the instructions to bend it back as it states.  He is holding a small sail boat toy in this one.

Dress Jolly Jim Paper Doll Clothes:

This first set of clothes includes a couple of short sets for Jolly Jim.  There is the one to the left that is a red coat and white shorts.  It looks like it is a musical instrument (band) type of uniform.  There is also a school outfit of blue shorts and a green jacket with a light blue shirt and an orange tie.  There are also two hats on this page - a black hat and a green hat.

This page of clothes includes two more outfits.  One is a pair of green shorts and a brown jacket with fur at the collar and brown gloves.  In looking at the hat with goggles, this is kind of an airplane riding outfit.  The other outfit on this page is a pair of red shorts with a big blue sweater.  He is holding his three toy soldiers and there are a couple more toy soldiers to cut out for him to play with.

This page of clothing looks like some kind of military outfit to me.  I am not sure how a small boy would be in the military, but, hey, these are from the 1940s.

This page is a drum major outfit, complete with a drum and big black hat.  There is also a horn for him to blow in case he gets tired of pounding on his drum.

Here are two more outfits for our darling little boy.  Both outfits are sports oriented.  In one outfit he is holding a ball and it is a pair of red shorts and a gold and blue striped shirt.  The other outfit is more of a baseball outfit as he is holding a baseball and some bats.  In that outfit he has green shorts and a red jacket.  It also includes a white dress shirt and a tie.  Both outfits have matching hats.

These two outfits include one that is a day at the beach type of outfit.  He has blue shorts and a brown jacket and a green umbrella.  He is holding a pail and shovel for sand castle building.  The other outfit is a pair of green shorts and a blue sailor jacket.  It looks like he might have a book under his arm.  His dog is on this page in a basket to cut out.  There is just one hat on this page.  But you could use it with either outfit.

Another doll to cut out and dress and play with.
