Little Maids Dress Shop is a Lowe paper doll book from 1957. Here are our three sweet paper dolls going shopping on the front cover. Their dresses remind me so much of the back to school dresses my mother used to buy me at Sears.
This is the back cover of the book and these are the dolls. If you want to print these, print the dolls on a heavy cardstock and the clothes on regular printing paper. Our dolls for this set are named Robin, Jill and Wendy. They are beyond adorable!
You can tell which clothes go to which doll by the little initials on the tabs. Obviously, J for Jill, R for Robin and W for Wendy. Our first page of clothes for these paper dolls are a snow outfit for Jill, which includes grey snow pants and a red winter coat with red boots. There is also a snow cap for Jill.
There is a green party dress for Wendy which also includes a pair of black Mary Janes and green socks and a green headband.
For Robin there is a pair of red shorts and a yellow sweater top with yellow knee high socks and red and white oxford shoes. This almost looks like a cheerleading practice outfit to me.
Jill gets a bonus outfit on this page. There is a blue dress and a bouquet of flowers (flower girl dress?) and a pair of brown shoes with blue anklet socks.
This page features a pair of jeans for Jill with a sweater with a big J on it and a scarf around her neck. There is a little white hat with a blue pom pom on top. Also for Jill is a little teddy bear pajama set complete with a teddy bear. There are also some matching sock slippers for the pajamas.
There is a green robe and slippers for Wendy with her little pajama bottoms sticking out the bottom and green slippers.
For Robin we have a little candy striper outfit complete with nurse's cap.
This page includes a painter's smock for Robin with blue pants underneath and red tennis shoes. For Wendy there is a gold cape over a green dress. Also for Wendy is a purple jumper with a pink top underneath and a bunny in the pocket.
Jill gets a brown (Brownie) uniform with brown shoes and white socks.
This final page of the Little Maids Dress Shop includes several miscellaneous outfits for all three girls. I think they did well on their shopping trip.
