These Playtime Playhouse Paper Dolls are from Whitman from the year 1968. Above is the front cover. Let's make us a cute little playhouse!
This is the back cover and includes the yard items (trees, a tree house, birds, and a rabbit) and a picture. There are also a bunch of lollypops. There is a little tiny diagram that shows you how to set up each punch out item. I would definitely use a heavy cardstock to print these onto to make them more sturdy. This kit would make a wonderful rainy day activity for children or a birthday party activity for slightly older children who can use a pair of scissors. Just provide them each with a set of the printouts and a pair of safety scissors. You can print a free PDF copy of this adorable set here for your ease of use.
This page includes a fireplace, a fire, a chair, two pairs of curtains, an actual fire for the fireplace, and a potted plant of flowers that go on the mantle of the fireplace.
This page has the actual dolls, which include a boy and a girl and a cat and a dog and some birds. There is also part of the roof on this page.
This page is the front door and one side of the adorable little house. Look, even the sun is shining and happy. Notice the numbered tabs on each piece, which will help you in putting it all together.
This page is another side of the house, which connects to the first side of the house. It has a window and a brick chimney and fireplace. There's another little diagram to show you how to put things together.
This page is the other part of the roof.
This is the last page and it includes a bed and a blanket. It also includes a rug and a teddy bear and a mouse. And lastly there is a pillow because you just can't sleep without a pillow, right?
