Round the Clock Paper Dolls

The Round the Clock paper dolls are actually entitled Round the Clock with Susan  Three Paper Dolls.  The front cover above is the Susan doll.

Here is the back cover with the other two dolls, Joanne and Linda.  I believe these are from the 1950s and they are Saalfield Paper Dolls.

Round the Clock Paper Dolls Clothes:

The idea behind this set of paper dolls is a day in the life.  This page is entitled Time to Go To School and the little clock is set at almost 8:00 a.m.  There are three school outfits on this page that include a green skirt with a white blouse and a yellow sweater.  There is also a blue school dress with a blue hat.  And finally a red school dress with a white collar.

This page is entitled Time to Play and the clock says it is 2:30 in the afternoon.  It is the time after school made just for play.  The girls have changed into their play clothes, which include a green play dress, a red and white striped shirt with a pair of red shorts, a yellow shorts set and a blue play skirt.  This page includes a couple of hats, a ball and a sand bucket and shovel.

This page is called Costume Ball and it does not have a clock on it.  There are three costumes on this page.

This page is entitled Birthday party and there are three party dresses, a purple one, a green one and a blue one.

This page is entitled Time for a Walk and the clock says 7:00.  On this page we find three different coats to wear out for an evening walk.  There is a  yellow coat with white gloves and a black purse.  There is a blue coat with white gloves and a red purse.  And there is a brown and white checked coat with white gloves and a green purse.

And our last page is entitled Time to Go To Bed and we have three pajama outfits on this page, which include a yellow pajama top and bottom, a red baby doll nightgown with white polka dots, and a blue pajamas short set.   There are also some night time items that the girls would use in the evening and at night, such as a hair brush and comb, a milk and cookies snack, a book, a mirror, and a dolly.
