I am not sure of the years of these Storybook Paper Dolls. I believe they are late 1950s or early 1960s. They are from Saalfield Artcraft publishing, #1740, and originally sold for 10 cents. I believe there are several versions of these same dolls that I have seen, usually with the names Heidi and Peter.
This first page is the cover of the book and has both the dolls in their costumes. I think the dolls that come later on the back cover are the actual dolls that you want to cut out and use to dress in the costumes.
Here is the actual back page with the two children to cut out and dress with the clothes.
We would love to see any paper dolls you would like to share with us and our readers. Please use this form to share those with us. The form only lets you upload 4 photos. If you have more, please just use the form again!! We want to make this the best Paper Doll website on the internet.
This first page of clothes has two dresses for the little girl (Heidi) and one outfit for the little boy. The first dress is a blue and white checked dress, which also includes a matching hat. She is holding a basket of flowers in her arm with this dress. The little boy's (Peter's) outfit is a shorts outfit. Brown shorts with a yellow jacket over a green, white and black striped shirt. There is a matching yellow hat for this outfit. The other girl dress is a red dress with a white smock over it. The smock has hearts and flowers all over it. There is a matching red hat for this dress.
