Barbie Paper Doll

This Barbie paper doll is Whitman #1962 and is from 1963. I believe there is also a blond one that is almost identical.

Barbie Paper Doll Closet and Clothes:

This first page is a great look into Barbie's closet. This is the inside cover of the book. You see that she has a college pennant hanging on her door, along with several belts. Dresses and shoes abound, of course!

This first page of clothing includes two dresses and two coats. The top pink outfit is a sweater set that was so popular in the 1960s. There is also a blue skirt and matching top. And a lovely, big, red coat and scarf with gold trim. And finally a short, cropped plaid poncho-type jacket. So fashionable!

This next page of clothing starts with an off-the-shoulders, aqua dress with a big bow. Next is an orange skirt and a feathering looking top. Then a very patriotic looking red and white striped shirt with a pair of blue shorts - perfect for the Fourth of July. On the bottom is a black dinner dress, with matching evening bag and hat. And after that busy day, a cute little pair of blue pajamas to snuggle up in for the evening.

This page has some more casual outfits. On the top left we have a green pair of slacks with a white and orange trimmed long-sleeved top. There is an orange sweater, an orange leotard, and a blue dress. There is a yellow sweater with white and red trim and a pink "hot pants" outfit with a black belt. There are also a few accessories on this page, including a blue purse to match the dress, and scarf and a headband.

Another four casual outfits.

A pink dress, a pair of black slacks, an orange-red sweater skirt set, a red dress, a blue top and a yellow dress with matching yellow jacket. There is also a pink hat and pink necklace to help Barbie accessorize.

The top outfit on this page reminds me of a little Suzy homemaker. Then there is an all-purpose green coat. I love the pink and black dress! As well as the blue and white dress with matching hat and purse!

Here is the doll to cut out for all these wonderful outfits!
