Pamela and Her Paper Dolls

Pamela and Her Paper Dolls (Doll Dressing and Story Book) is an adorable set of vintage paper dolls.  I am not sure of the year it was published, but I am guessing probably the 1950s.  Above is the front cover of Pamela and her two little dolls.  I love the little apron Pamela is wearing on this cover page.

This is the doll to be dressed by Pamela in this fun play set.  It looks like a boy to me, but some of the clothes look like they are for a girl, so maybe this doll can be either a boy or a girl, depending on which outfits you are using.

Pamela and Her Paper Dolls Clothes:

Here is the first page of clothes.  They include a red pair of shorts with suspenders with a white collared top underneath with a red tie at the neck.  There is also a white blouse with a small bit of red trim on the collar.  There are two hats - one a blue bonnet with flowers and a red bow and the other a green clown looking hat with red balls.  There is also a pull along toy that is a duck.

This page of clothes includes a similar shorts with suspenders except these are in blue.  They also have suspenders.  There is another white blouse underneath with red and blue trim.  There is a more winter looking play set that is also blue with red trim.  There are two toys - a clown bobbling toy and a rattle.  There is also a flower necklace.

This page of clothes has a red dress with white polka dots.  I love the buttons on the shoulder.  There is also a white blouse with blue trim and a white big with blue trim and red embroidered flowers.  There is a blue hat and a red ball.  There is also what looks to me like a blanket or a cape that is white with red polka dots and blue trim.

This last page of clothing includes a blue dress with red rick rack trim and a white bow on the waist and a little yellow duck.  There is a matching sun bonnet as well.  There is also a bottle and a patchwork ball.  And the last outfit is a pair of blue shorts (with suspenders of course) with a white short with red splashes around it.  It has a white pom pom tie at the collared neck as well.
