Paper Doll Birthday Party Invitations

Paper Doll Birthday Party Invitations:

These paper doll birthday party invitations are super adorable and are a great and fun way to kick off your little girl's paper doll themed birthday party.  I am providing you with a complete kit to make these, which includes all of the papers and the paper dolls that go in the inside pocket as well as a sheet of tabs.  You can download the full kit here.  The only thing you need are the small paper lunch bags and these printables and you will have some very special little invitations.

So the first thing you need is one paper lunch sack for each child that you want to invite.

The first thing to do is to fold the paper bag in half.

You will adhere the above image from the kit to the front of your paper bag.  Make sure that the opening is on this side of the card for the pull-out you will be adding to that pocket later.

Cover the two inside pages of the paper bag with two more pieces of the polka dot paper from the kit.

Cover the back of the paper sack as well.

Using the solid pink paper that is provided in the kit, cut a piece about 3 inches tall and the same width as your paper bag.  You can adhere this in different ways, such as with brads or eyelets.  I like to sew my pockets on and it is super fast and easy.  This is where the little paper doll and her clothes will go.

Cut out the paper doll and outfits provided in the kit and insert them into this pocket.  It will be so fun for each party guest to receive a paper doll set to play with before the party even begins!

I have also provide a sheet of tabs in your kit.  Cut these out and you will glue them to the side of the invitation's pull-out making it easier for guests to see the pull-out.

To adhere the tab, simply fold it in half and using a glue stick or whatever adhesive you prefer, glue it into place on the insert.

Of course, you are going to want to fill out the information on this sheet with who the party is for, the date, the time, where and a phone number or email as to where to RSVP.  I would recommend printing this page and the paper doll and clothes on a cardstock.  The papers that cover the bag can be printed on regular bond paper.

This is what your finished paper doll birthday party invitations will look like.  Aren't they cute?
