Two Little Girls
Paper Dolls

The full title for these 1949 two little girls paper dolls are Two Little Girls and They Grew and Grew.  They were put out by Whitman Publishing.

I love the cover so much.  Two sweet little girls, and then the pretty young women they grow into later.

Here are the two dolls of them all grown up.

This first set of clothes is for the grown up dolls.  At the top we have a black skirt and white gypsy top.  Both the skirt and the top are trimmed in orange trim with eyelet lace.  There is a yellow beach outfit at the top that is trimmed in blue and orange stripes.  At the bottom is what must have been a very stylish bathing suit (remember this is 1949).  It's got a cute little cape and a hat and sunglasses.  There is also a pink skirt that wraps around a pair of shorts and a swim suit type top.

This page of clothing are for the two young girls.  There is an adorable blue car coat with a matching yellow purse and hat.  The hat is trimmed with a blue ribbon that you can just see a piece of.  For the other doll is a very cute orange coat.  I love the side buttons on both the collar and the waist and how they are offset on opposite sides.  Very chic!  She also has a matching purse and hat.  Then there is a brown winter outfit trimmed in fur, complete with muffs and hat.  And for the other doll a red winter outfit (with more offset buttons) and a fur bow tie as well as fur trimmed cuffs.  And of course some cute gloves to match.

Here are some more outfits for the older dolls.

This page is called Tea Time Elegance and are obviously some outfits for the older dolls to wear to tea.  What do you think of the raccoon wrap?  Nice, eh?

I love this page of party dresses!  There are a total of 6 party dresses on this page.  There is a yellow one, a white one with pink trim, a blue one with yellow trim, a pink with white polka dotted one, a white one with a jacket and a yellow top, and finally a blue "Heidi" type dress.  There are also some party hats, a birthday cake and balloons included on this page.

Another page of outfits for the younger dolls.
